Firstly IPL is the most famous cricket league. Vivo retained title sponsorship of the Indian Premier League (IPL), the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced on Tuesday.
Vivo had bagged the title sponsorship rights of the T 20 League for two years – 2016 and 2017 – or the ninth and tenth edition of the league – at a reported cost of Rs 100 crore per year which was a jump of Rs 20 crore annually from what beverage giant Pepsi had paid through an earlier agreement beginning 2013.
Several media reports also suggested that the second highest company was Oppo which made a bid worth Rs 1,430 crore. Vivo and Oppo are subsidiaries of the same company.

In the edition of 2018 two new teams are coming Rising Pune Supergaints and Gujarat Lions with the replacement of Chennai Super Kings and Rajastan Royals. Due to IPL Fixing problems they have been suspended for two years.
